Terms of Service & Client Policies

At Chillington Cleaning Service, LLC, I aim to provide reliable, high-quality cleaning with transparency and care. These policies help ensure a smooth, respectful experience for both parties.
Scope of Services
Cleaning tasks are based on the selected service tier (Standard, Deep Clean, Move-In/Out, or Airbnb Turnover). Add-on services must be requested in advance and may incur additional charges.
Please note that services do not include:
- Mold, pest, or biohazard removal
- Heavy lifting or furniture moving
- Window washing/cleaning
- Outdoor cleaning beyond entry areas
- Cleaning inside appliances (e.g., fridge/oven) (unless arranged)
- Dishwashing or laundry (unless arranged)
- Organizing personal belongings (unless arranged)
- Cleaning of high/restricted areas (e.g., ceiling fans, high shelves, chandeliers)
Windows & Window Sills
Glass window cleaning (interior or exterior) is not included in my services. However, if previously discussed and agreed upon, I may clean inside window sills — provided they are accessible, safe to reach, and the window can be easily opened/unlocked. This must be arranged in advance and will require additional time.
Client Preparation (What to Do Before I Arrive)
To help me clean thoroughly and efficiently, I ask that:
- Personal items and clutter be tidied up and put away
- Dishes and laundry be cleared unless previously discussed
- Pets/children are secured for safety
- Any valuables, fragile items, or breakables are safely stored
If a space requires more time due to excessive clutter or unplanned tasks, this may be billed accordingly or addressed during a future visit.
Appointment Scheduling, Cancellations & Rescheduling
Clients must provide at least 24 hours’ notice for cancellations or changes.
- Same-day cancellations will be charged a $50 fee
- No-shows or denied access may result in a 50% service charge
- I reserve the right to reschedule in cases of illness, inclement weather, or emergency
Arrival Window
As a solo cleaner, I allow a 30-minute arrival window before or after the scheduled time to accommodate traffic or unforeseen delays.
Access to Your Home
If you won’t be present, please provide clear instructions for entry and parking (e.g., lockbox code, key location, or smart lock access).
Please ensure that all areas to be cleaned are accessible and free of safety hazards.
Pets
I’m happy to work around pets! Please notify me in advance of any specific instructions, sensitivities, or concerns.
Pet hair removal may require additional time and may be billed accordingly.
Payment & Pricing
- Payment is due at the time of service
- Accepted forms of payment: Venmo/Zelle
- First-time cleanings are billed at full price to establish a baseline
- A late fee of $10/day may be applied to invoices not paid within 24 hours of service, unless otherwise arranged.
Supplies & Equipment
I bring my own cleaning supplies and equipment, including eco-friendly products and tools.
If you have specific products you prefer used in your home, I’m happy to accommodate, just let me know in advance.
Photos for Portfolio & Social Media
With your permission, I may take before-and-after photos of cleaned spaces to showcase my work.
No personal or identifying information will ever be shared. Photos will only be used for business promotion unless otherwise agreed upon.
Damages & Liability
While every effort is made to treat your home and belongings with care, accidents can happen.
If anything is damaged during service, I will notify you immediately and work with you toward a fair resolution.
Right to Refuse Service
I reserve the right to decline or discontinue service at any time if conditions are unsafe, unsanitary, or outside the agreed-upon scope of work.
Satisfaction Guarantee
If you have concerns about the service, please contact me within 24 hours so I can address the issue promptly. Your satisfaction is important to me, and I’m committed to making it right.
